The Digital Horizontal MEMS Inclinometer System measures settlement or heave under embankments, dams, roadways, storage tanks, and landfills.
The Horizontal MEMS Inclinometer System is used to measure settlement and/or heave within a horizontal borehole. The system comprises a uniaxial probe, cable reel and a rugged Field PC supplied with ‘data presentation software.
Inclinometer probe, available with 500 mm length (other length on request), is manufactured from special 316 stainless steel in order to guarantee stability , waterproofing and anti-corrosion for long term operation.
The probe incorporates MEMS technology allowing highly accurate and repeatable readings, transferred via a digital signal. Wireless communication enables a cable free data transmitting system with no connectors to corrode or break.
With all these combined features, the Horizontal Digital Inclinometer System is a robust and highly accurate system that is light, compact and easy to operate in any site environment.
